2023/24 Sean Dyche

Why do some change actual facts to suit their own agenda. We weren’t in a real state and my facts maybe be slightly off too
But from
What I can recall,
We’d just beaten West Ham 4-0 and were in 13th?? It was end of November, probably just over a 3rd of the season gone. The next game, Sam’s first was Huddersfield at home one of the worst sides in the league,
We won 2-0 and went up to 9th.

No matter how bad unsworth was, he would have kept us up easily,
It was a much poorer league then and we did have some quality players and a better squad than have the division
3 days before that West Ham game Southampton spanked us 4-1. Unsworths first win at home to Watford was got only cause Watford were so poor and Cleverly missed a peno. We were in a real state, thats why Koeman was sacked and it took so long to get a replacement. Whatever went on in the off season, when we came back we looked a shambles from the get go.

I'm no fan of Koeman but Everton stated off with horrible fixtures during that season.

Koeman got sacked because we hadn’t kicked on from 7th the year before and a lot of noise going around he wasn’t that arsed about the job. But to make out big Sam saved us from relegation is nonsense. Maybe at Southampton we were as bad as Watford. Is was a poor league and like what’s been pointed out we got 8th with 49 points.

We had a squad full of internationals, yes looking at it today it’s not the best but 7 yrs ago it wasn’t the premier league it is now. That squad should comfortably be in mid table in 2017/18
Nah disagree that squad was a mess, dressing room was all over the place , some of the internationals you mentioned were due to retire . Schneiderlin lol could go on

Disagree as much as you like and yes maybe some of the things you say are right, but the league was pants and even with all mess you talk about they got 8th with 49 points. Probably 7/8 teams that season now wouldn’t even get out the championship.

The prem and
Championship have moved to another level in 7 years.

Dyche has never been given a budget at any team he's worked at. They're hardly 'his teams'
What 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 he was there 10yrs and spent like 200mil and brought in about 120mil ok that’s not a lot of money. But it’s his team. That’s like saying when Moyes left us in 2013 it wasn’t his team 🤣🤣 what utter nonsense
He spent 20mil on the likes of Chris wood and weghorst

The 77 players he bought at Burnley weren’t his apparently
