2023/24 Sean Dyche

Because we don't have the personnel for it. We're more likely to beat a top 6 team at home than a old school defending set up.
Maybe try something different then
Good managers adjust. There are players who have been in terrible form picked every week. Other teams not a million miles away have put in young players and taken a chance.
We bring on 38 year olds

His plans are:

Swap DCL and Beto around the 70 minute mark.

If we’re losing, chuck some youngsters on up top.

If we’re winning, bring on Ashley Young.

He has no clue how to change a game. None whatsoever. The game unfolds as it unfolds, and he’s a powerless bystander, apparently.
totally agree with this in lots of games, but today, what would you have changed before the Soucek goal? We looked like the team that was more likely to score for pretty much the whole of the second half

Except it hasn't been the same story all season. And if you change the manager the players automatically score penalties and take the chances they should be taking? Not entirely sure how that works, Dyche doesn't take the penalties
Missed chances, diabolical attacking play and atrocious finishing has been the story of the season.

At some point you have to stop saying its poor luck and start accepting this is what we are. A team who are dreadful in front of goal and lack conviction. It's a lot down to the players but it's wrong to ignore the coaching element.

he’s got nothing about him has he , he’s just a extension of the players who are the exactly the same
He literally gets by on being bald, ginger and having a gravelly voice.

That’s his personality. Thats his persona. There’s nothing backing it up, apart from his two bald roommates from when he was a teenager.

Because he searched the world of football for the best coaches and fortunately he lived with them as a young man.

So that’s cool.

Our strikers dont score much, our wide players dont score or create much, our midfielders are not creative and our full backs dont get forward.

One hand tied behind the mans back.

Yes he is a terrible manager but we also have zero quality in midfield and up front, so not sure how replacing him would help this season. Would deffo bin at end if season tho and start again

He’s part of the problem. His game management, inability to read the situation and make decent substitutions is abysmal. However, agreed, he isn’t the biggest problem. It’s really on the players to score, especially when you’re gifted a pen.

but exactly my point, changing Dyche is like rearranging the deck chairs on the Titanic, the horrendous finishers will still be there, and we will contnue to massively underperform

Anyone who says we should be playing like Brighton should be forced to watch this match on an endless loop for a week

They players come on the pitch like they’ve just rolled out of bed ,there doesn’t seem to be any plan ,reminds me of Walter smiths last season this
