We have had no input from the owner in recent years, money has had to be raised to keep the club functioning from somewhere as we were building a stadium and paying the ridiculous interest payments on a variety of loans let alone before we start talking about just needing money to run the club at a basic level. That means we were never going to strengthen in the way we hoped so of course it impacts Dyches role but at the same time it doesn't stop him being a bit more flexible in certain games. I don't rate the guy whatsoever but I don't see the point in changing till the summer, that will cause all sorts of hassle.
Great. Agree 100%.
Welcome to the Dychettes

I’m sure of course everyone would prefer to see Dyche go all out away at City here. Come on Dycho, what could possibly go wrong?
I’d have preferred us to actually try and play a little bit of football without having to have conceded first. The immediate change in approach after we conceded was very clear to see. Weren’t even countering until after 20 mins or so.

I presume it was the players who did this and not the manager

That tends to be what happens with football teams home and away mate. City start the game on the front foot, pushing us back, get their goal, and naturally try to defend it, which is why we came into the game after they scored.
