Didn't he make his debut at left back . Why on earth anyone would think this was a good idea , crackers
That's what i was hinting at , was a woeful night .Yes, 5-0 defeat at Benfica

It was about 3 years after he was actually done though in fairness.People may dislike Gary neville but at least he had the decency to retire mid season when he knew he was done, Coleman signs another contract when he knows he's done ffs.
With 2 left backs on the benchRidiculous giving him a new deal, then to play him left back when hes a right back while we play a centre back at right back. Just doesn't make sense
Because Moyes done a very good job with us and punched above our weight for sometime, and Coleman has been a good servant to the club on and off the pitch, but on the pitch he’s stayed too long and should of called it a day when his contract was up, but I also get it’s hard to let go of the only thing he knows playing football but the time comes for everyone and if it wasn’t a couple of years ago it certainly should of been last season.Yeah I remember
I don’t dislike the manager or seamus but i don’t get the adulation from some for them either.

I don't disagree, possibly even longer. I just always laugh at the idea that Gary Neville had one bad game and decided he couldn't possibly take another penny from his club, he never should have come back from the injury he got in 2007 but didn't retire until pretty much 4 years later. I remember being at a corporate thing at Old Trafford for a game against Wolves about 18 months before he retired and we were literally laughing at how bad he was, he got terrorised by Matt Jarvis.coleman has been done for about 3 years too
No idea why he wasn't played at RB and switch O'Brien over to the left. At least hand Seamus half a chance at feeling comfortable in the team again.
There's no alternative to Coleman at RB if we dont play O'Brien there...unless you want to take Garner out of creating in MF - which he's doing again now.How about we just don’t though?
