Yeah bern time for far to long that the club actually brings in a first choice rb. Well that and lb need to be sorted out for the long term now not short term options. I have rated the lad and do hope we can keep him around the club is some sort of position but as a player no his body cant take it anymoreHe is sadly so finished.
he’s already got a further 12 months agreed if he wants it.Sadly I heard from renowned ITK @evertondotcom that he’s going to give himself a new 3 year deal.
And the lack of ability to pay fees.Just a bizarre decision to hand him and young new contracts, shows the ambition of the club.
He is just taking wages off the club, while people moan about players like DCL, Iwobi and Onana over the years whilst he just focuses on Ireland
Apart from making poor signings over the years, we`ve been guilty of holding onto players that are well past their best at PL level. If you loo at the better clubs they rarely end up having what used to be important players for them playing on with 12 month extensions season after season till retirement. PL being the top level of domestic football yet we continue paying players who should be dropping down a level if they want to continue playing. Seamus is an example of this and if we continue to do this we will not move up the pecking order. He is just taking wages off the club, while people moan about players like DCL, Iwobi and Onana over the years whilst he just focuses on Ireland
It's like what the club did with Dave Watson & Neville Southall.Apart from making poor signings over the years, we`ve been guilty of holding onto players that are well past their best at PL level.
