surely its on reduced terms, like 25k p/w or something. that's what a sensible, skint club would do
….clearly a huge influence on and off the pitch, we’ll need to scrap next season and it’s better that he’s involved. It sounds like a playing contract, so I imagine it’s on the same terms which is understandable.

Given we haven’t got a pot to pee in I think a one year deal on reduced wages is sensible.
Obviously can’t have him walking out on a zimmer, but the stadium won’t be delayed so it’s moot really.

No chance he’s getting a pay increase. Aging players who know their career is winding down tend to get pay cuts.
