A scan on Seamus Coleman's injured ankle has confirmed that there is no fracture. Fingers crossed the further scan on Monday doesn't show bad ankle ligament damage

Thank the lord for that. I was convinced that due to our pathetic luck that he'd be out for a minimum of 6 weeks.

Bit of good news at last!

ankle ligament damage is confirmed from everton facebook page [if i am reading it right that is] maybe its to say what extent the injury is

I reckon he'll be out 3 - 6 weeks. Could be worse. Worse case scenario he'll miss 4 matches. One of which he was suspended for anyway. Not ideal. Not the end of the world either.

If I'm going to be optimistic I'll say hopefully it means Barkley can start for us. In reality I imagine Moyes will just stick Osman there. =/

Ankle ligaments damage :(
yep as said, steve round says “We think it is ankle ligament damage, but we are not sure until there is a scan. There is no fracture “It was a bit naughty the challenge and their manager and the player have been in to apologise" that makes it all better then
