Player Valuation: £10m
As we seen yesterday, when he doesnt play he is badly missed and the team isnt as fluent BUT the big man is 1 yellow away from a 2 game ban, now what do we do in the upcoming weeks. I found this on the FA website.

iv) If a player accumulates 10 (ten) recorded cautions in FTCM between the opening day of the Playing Season and the second Sunday of April in the same Season, he will be suspended automatically for a period covering: -
Two First Team matches

So he is banned automatically from the game he gets yellow carded in, so do we:-

I would probably say we do, yeh.

We don't need him against Hull. I think we could win that without him. He'll also get booked, he usually does to be honest.

I'm leaning towards playing him against Hull to be honest. I almost went crazy at everyone in the other thread for downplaying the Hull game in favour of derby games, but I held back. We HAVE to beat Hull to set us up for the tough games we have afterwards. If we don't win at home against what is really a very average team we'll be struggling going into Liverpool, Arse, United. It's a very difficult one to call, both decisions are gambles that will look good if they go right but [Poor language removed] if they go wrong.

Regarding Fellaini and 10 yellows, just looked on the fa site and from what i can make out any 2 match ban for 10 yellows comes into effect 14 days after his last booking.

So a booking against Hull means he can play in the league game but misses the cup game and Arsenal home.

But if he gets through Hull even if he gets booked in the league game at analfield he can play in the cup agaisnt the rs and against Arsenal but will miss Man U and Bolton.

I posted this in another thread but thats for non first team games. For first team games it looks like it takes 7 days for a ban to come into effect after the 10th yellow card.

I reckon we might as well just bloody play him in every game we can till he picks up that 10th booking.

Chances are he will miss 2 of our next 4 games after Hull anyway and they are all just as important as each other pretty much.

Best thing to of done was get booked against Sunderland but its too late for that now.

We need him for the derby.

He'll give us something different and more of an aerial presence.

we need him for the games against the [Poor language removed], he played very well against them for liege and if he's asked to do the same again as he did for liege and has the same effect then it's worth resting him against hull.
