We had a scouse coach in the under 18's, good 'ol Tomm'eh

He's yell things out like 'EIGHT - TEEEEENS! OOOVVEEH EEE-AAA!

and

'YOU GAATTA SHOT LEEEKE CANNONBALL FLEMIN' EY LAD'

Even Facebook puts the word like at the end of every sentence.

Starting a sentence with the word 'erm' is practically Universal, and is the human equivalent of the egg timer or processing bar you see when you ask your computer to process a demand or action.

One thing that baffles me is how people say Lad now instead of Laa. When did that happen ? All me life it's been laa but noticed in the last few years all the scals say lad. Prefer laa meself, the band woulda been crap if they were called the lads instead of the laa's.

I'll be honest when I first seen the word "Trabs" I had to peruse one's online urban dictionary for an appropriate translation!
