C0yle

Player Valuation: £750k
heard he will be leaving Chelski in January, and there a few championship teams lining up for him. I think we should be trying to jump in and get hin on loan with an option to make the deal permanent. He fits the bill as far as being a pacy winger andcould really give as an extra option on the bench that we are desperatly lacking. Not to mention i think he would actually be in our price range.

He's one of the football manager boys. Presumably he'd be cheap, and young, so worth a stab I should think. We could do with a bit of pace in the side. He can play up front as well.

He looked a very good player when he was on loan at Plymouth i think it was a couple of seasons back.

In some ways the Jan market suits us, i think its easier to get players of ability on loan in Jan then in the summer, usually because players have a sense themselves how much or little they will be involved with their respective teams during the rest of the season.

Considering we dont have a pot to piss in, Jan could be a valuable time for us to pick up some gems of loan, ala Arteta or Fernandes. I think Moyes has a fair understanding of players of quality out there what has had hands tied in recruitment is success which is why we have been probably the most succeessfull team in terms of loan recruitment since it came in to vouge.

More of the same in Jan Davey.

If I were the decision maker at Chelsea I'd be thinking of loaning out a couple - with clauses they dont play against Chelsea, obviously - to sides like Everton who have to play their main title contenders and are capable of a result. It'll be that close this season in the Premiership.

Of course, being able to pay the wages of these players might be a problem, so Chelsea would probably prefer to loan to clubs financially viable enough to pay all the wage bill.

Good points there Dave. Though I wouldn't have thought Sinclair would be in the 'out of our league' wage bracket. But being Chelsea, it may be more than we're willing to pay for a largely unproven youngster.

Scott Sincliar is from i am from. When I rented my first place he lived on the same estate with his mum and twin brother. They used to be up all night playing under street lamps until there mum would call them in.

Hes a good player with pace to burn, I really do think he could be a top player one day.

Thanks HB for telling how it is, if he cannot make it where he is then we do not want him. Too many people get carried away with every name that crops up and start going all goooey.

Not a bad shout, rather have that Sturridge from Citeh though personally, he's meant to be unhappy at constantly being left out and looks a better prospect than Sinclair, who is yet to really prove his worth in the top flight

Sturridge will be a great goal scorer in the future, City would be mad to part with him.

But will they wait to develop his potential now they are backed by the Arabs, these type of teams buy their talent not develop it. Only a week or two ago there was talk of him leaving, think he'd still go for more than we could pay but deffo a potential future England player imo if he keeps developing the way he has. Plus he's been top class on Football Manager for the last few years so that seals the deal for me
