Went to see this earlier...

Now maybe I'm getting older now but all the young ones at work said this was ace and thought I would love it...i didn't.
It's quite clever and quite kinda cool in parts but something don't click with me. I did however love the old skool computer noises throughout.
Still unsure on Michael Cera. Ace in Zombieland, not so in this.

2 out of 5 Premier League trophies.

Im gonna have a look at it , after liking Kick Ass - I was sceptical there , too .

I'll report back , as when .

I DID like Juno , though .

I love Michael Cera. He does usually only do the nerdy type, but then look at him.

That said, he was in Arrested Development as a kid, and was ace. He's a good actor, make no mistake. He was also pretty good in Youth In Revolt, in which he played what was essentially a schizophrenic. Half nerd, half douchebag. He played the latter surprisingly well.

Juno is overrated, but good. Kick Ass was fantastic, although that didn't have Cera in it. Kick-Ass was fantastic either way.

Back to the topic at hand, I'm going to see this, because well, I am the target audience. Teenager, who loves videogames. And Michael Cera. :P

Originally my post said maybe you were referring to the fact that they were both kiddy looking, but not in content; the first the source of scepticism, the second the source of you enjoying it.

But then I realised I hadn't quoted you, so it looked silly, and I just edited it out. I probably should have just edited in your quote, thinking back, but oh well :P

Totally forgot he was in that. Would you recommend Youth In Revolt?

As for Scotty P, it's not that I'm not the target audience (very rarely act my age and look about 12!!). I usually love this kinda thing. Can't place exactly what I didn't like.

Ermm, Michael Cera wasn't in Zombieland.

Although, Superbad....he was in that.

He was good in Superbad and Juno; but that Nick and Norah's infinite playlist whaydyacallit was rank...and so was the one he was in with Jack Black.
