Hes a steady midfeilder, but with Barkley, Mofro, Rodwell - hes surpless to what we need.

To be honest we should be going for James Forrest, exactley the type of player we need and he hasnt hit anywhere near the top of the massive potential he has.

No he isn't. We lack aggression.

I'll be honest, I could think of many more I'd prefer, but the lad is going free and he's far from a duffer in terms of ability. He could slot in no problem.

I would have said that in previous years, but not this one to be honest, i havnt seen us out battled once this season in comparrison to the last two. To be honest i would go for a playmaker before an aggressive type of midfeilder, we require a spark of creativity. If funds are limited to be honest and lets face it they will be, i would go for a striker and a playmaker or a winger, which ever is of the highest quality and value available.

For free i wouldnt say no, beats having to play Neville in there, or at a push, put Ossie or Cahill deep. He's not as bad as some make out, He's tenacious and aggressive and gets about the pitch and would be a better option deep in the centre than the likes of the above IMO.

Well said aidey9, he would be a huge improvement on the likes of neville and cahill in the centre, he has aggression and passion and is not a bad player either. If he was free or nominal fee i,d have him here no problem.

I also agree with neiler, james forrest is the one we should look at before someone like 'arry nips in. He has masssive potential, and now is the time to go after him.
