In the event Fellaini doesn't put pen to paper what are the chances Moyes would be tempted to bring in this feller on a free next summer (or secure his services this January)?

He's Moyes type of player down to the ground: has played predominantly right side in a CM partnership at Celtic, but also can play just off a striker, and he's played in a wide right berth by successive Scottish team managers in a 5 man midfield.

You know he'd do it. £25k pw wages at Celtic could be bumped up no problem, and no top 6 team down here would touch him with a shitty stick. The Geordies wanted him as a replacement for Nolan this summer, so maybe they can intervene.

Surely you mean hopefully!!

Anyway, not sure why im even surprised, we have gone full circle, thats clear, the time of us spunking 15m on Young Internationals and 12m on proven Premiership strikers is long gone.

While the current Bored(Not a typo) is running things, we should be grateful we can still attract the marquee players like James "I scored a great goal against Charlton and France once, but im utter gash" McFadden.

This is it. We have to believe that 'the Scottish Gerrard' (no kidding, this is how he's been described!) and players like him would be on our radar. If you're fighting off insolvency then getting rid of big salary players who can also fetch an arm and a leg in fees, and replacing them with players like this for free has to be a serious option.

To be fair to him, he's no worse than Charlie Adam and very aggressive - something we lack, IMO...not that I'm advocating a move for him.

I can confirm from watching him every weekend, he's ****e. James Forrest however who's took his place on the right wing is a great prospect.

Wouldnt mind us snatching up Forrest and/or Wylde really - one for each wing, both very promising.

Brown, not a chance. He's probably 5th choice midfielder at Celtic and only gets a game because he's captain (that sounds familiar!)
