Footie and athletics really. Played some rugby too but it didn't really get off the ground as we were wool/posh enough.

Ghost well wore a blazer for school. Side part all over the show.

Well that was the thing about Welsh schools, no blazers. Material for weapons them.

We wore blazers (they all do round here) Bottle Green ones, except in the 5th year you could have a black one if you wanted, so we all got donkey jackets... you could tell who's arl fella worked at Ford or NCB.

doc marten boots, half mast kecks. then all of a sudden it was fred perry sweatshirts and adidas korsika shoes.

I once remember doing Fosbury Flops some years back and breaking the bar in half as I attempted a clearance.

cross country was another worthwhile endeavor, came first once out of like 60 participants across fields, that was the highlight of my day.

someone mentioned crap, sorry, crab football,

for those in the dark, this was sitting on your backside, kicking your legs around and trying to put a foam ball in a goal of some kind, while looking 'extremely' stupid.

People have been put in Walton Jail for coming up with lesser atrocities.

I remember playing LAZER FORCE a couple of terms running in year 12.

We campaigned for that and our Maths teacher loved it. My code name was 'Burnt Willis'

We'd walk down to town and run around shooting each other with lazers for a couple of hours to DUFF DUFF techno.

Unreal.

That sounds like those 'Quasar' places they used to have dotted around the country (UK) some years back, it was all the rage about 15 years ago, but I don't know if anyone still bothers with it, or the places have since closed down.

never been one for paintball, seems a bit nefarious to me.

Always remember an episode of Byker Grove (Newcastle Upon Tyne based teen drama of the 1990s dealing with life's issues), and Ant, other half of Dec, :dodgy:, got hit in the eyes when he took his goggles off and he was blinded because of it, he was only 17 then in the storyline, and I was quite shook up by it, thinking how unfortunate could you be, and what it would be like to spend the rest of your life without sight.

I can't stand those two in real life, but No matter how you feel about any one individual I wouldn't wish such a fate on anyone.

All told, I'll give paintball a miss.

Paintball is awesome. It is so much fun, and perfectly safe if you aren't a complete moron (Thats Ant and Dec out then.....)

The last time I let a teen drama dictate my life I started speaking Canadian.

Thank YOU Degrassi Junior High

Who played these:

Soldiers on The Wall
Murder Ball
British Bulldogs
Sardines

Murder ball was popular at our school during breaks....kick it as high as you could up in the air...then someone would catch it and try and do the same, until 30 kids all piled on top of him, and beat the crap outa him...great game
