I'm not fuming until we've lost to Leicester on the opening day.

Pre-season is about getting fitness levels up. If we play this badly against Leicester, that matters. Playing this way against Paderborn 07 doesn't matter at all.

I'm not even arsed , its next week and the 38+ games that matter. As long as we don't suffer serious injuries results dont matter.

i think we could be in for a rude awakening this season, never seen us look so dire and unfit and unprepared, questions have to be asked why mirallas and lukaku been given so much time off when other players who played a hell of a lot more in the world cup than them 2

Positives - Long took his goal very well, lots of starters to come back in

Negatives - Players look shattered, can only assume they have been on a beast of a pre-season
Defence is in disarray at the moment
No attacking outlet at the moment

Agree about lack of creativity - that's why I think Atsu is absolutely essential for us. I've got a growing feeling that this could be the season when we all fall out of love with Pienaar.
