On loan I wouldnt say no.
Also if he is prepared to leave City then he has to be prepared to take a wage cut or he would be happy to sit on the bench. Whats he on? 80/90k a week?

Quote from Mark Hughes about Santa Cruz:

“People are making assumptions because I’ve worked with him before [Roque Santa Cruz]… I like him as a player, that’s been clear because of the number of times I purchased him.

“I think there’s a lot of players at Manchester City that are at a level of finance which makes it difficult for a lot of teams to allow the player to make a decision to come to a certain club … There may be other opportunities we may try and pursue instead of that one.”

Tried to find out how much he was on, but couldn't find it

Amazing to think he's probably on more a week than any of our players have ever been...

City can't even attract [Poor language removed] players without having to pay the big bucks.

I would take him on loan if the Yak doesn't pan out. Santa Cruz is a target man which fits our 4-5-1 system just fine. If he bombs then who cares.....just a loan.

I would put my left ballbag on him going to Fulham with Hughes.

Your left ballbag? How many have you got?

Thought he looked good when he first went to Blackburn, the pace of the premiership then took it's toll and he can't put a string of games together.....we've got enough crocks, so nay from me.
