There's about 3 or 4 teams with more chance of finishing 7th than us mate. Anyway, Sandro on the left now we have Walcott!

Perhaps Leicester and Burnley who else has been at all consultant, Watford earlier on but there form is patchy now. But imo we have to get decent results in the next 4 games to give ourselves that chance of getting 7th. But what I can't believe is people are still worrying about relegation, there's no chance of that.

Someone mentioned newcastle. Think that would be a great fit for him on lian.
Benitez is very big on tactical discipline and they are very much defence first.....like us.
They have no centre forwards and maybe the spanish conection could help him.
A good 2nd half to the season there and make a decision what to do in the summer.

I think to write a 22 year old who has never played in this league before and been in a cluster fudge of a club is way to early to write him off

Then again some leagues just dont suit certain players....look at the likes of forlan and aspas

It’s unlikely but we have been terrible. When you concede so easily and offer so little going forward it’s hard to imagine picking up many points. Hopefully Tosun and Walcott will help.

Yes that's what I'm hoping for, we have to try and stay positive don't we.

Remember Diego Forlan? Looked useless at Man Utd but great for Villareal in Spain. This horse doesn't suit the course.

he is quite small for the prem, and he doesn't look like he's baulked up at all either.

his lack of balance is concerning too. the lad struggles to stay on his feet, whilst challenging for the ball. not a good trait

It's a shame but I've not seen many encouraging signs from him at all.

I can see why some might make comparisons to the likes of Forlan.

Did we have Tosun (apart from Spurs game) or Walcott, NO we had useless DCL and someone like Lennon on the wing (although I didn't mind Lennon in the final third he wasn't that good. So the conclusion is no forward attacking minded players = no shots and no goals it isn't hard to understand, then that puts massive pressure on the defence.l feel sorry for the likes of Sigs or Rooney as they haven't a chance with a forward pass with that dross up top.

Hi You must have a simple care free life, just to come back and comment to show you are right well done, have a gold star sticker.I'll put it this way old habits die hard I'm sure it will improve, But if we have 30 shots in our next game I won't be searching you up just to show I'm then right I don't want a gold star sticker that bad. It's not about being right mate it's pointing out that your previous arguments are pure guff. Put it this way if Southampton win or draw we'll be 4 to 6 points off the drop zone, that is the definition of relegation battle. We've been waiting for it to get better all season.
