In all seriousness though I wish people like this would stay away from the club. People like these use players as a verbal punch bag because they're miserable sods with no enjoyment in their lives.

Some truth in this, football as therapy ... if people pay good money, shouldn't they expect to be cheered up? Or is the opportunity just to vent something worth paying for? Alternatively, if it upsets people so much, are they doing themselves more harm than good by turning up?
Anyway, I digress ... I've sen plenty to be hopeful for in Sandro - he's young, new country, new style, only played a few games. I think he can do well, looks a team player.

Football is supposed to make you happy - even if it's the happiness of ups and downs and excitement and passion and the HOPE or the young player or the old player, the crunchy tackle, the singing...

we are a whingeing old creaking boring sour club sometimes. lighten up everyone

We need a thread called

"Bad shouts you hear at the match".

The problem with sitting in the Gwladys St during non-entity cup games is that all the "lids" come out in full force.

Yesterday's favourite shouts about Sandro were.

"You're shocking (not the word used) you Sandro, you're just a bald mirallas"

Then my favourite.

"Sandro you're jarg you, in fact all our summer signings are proper jarg....

(20 seconds follow)

Ayyy that Vlasic looks alright doesn't he? Offers what Sandro doesn't"

lol

How are players meant to succeed if our own fans don't back them? lol

I was sorry to see the vuvuzela didn't catch on.

Anything to drown out the retarded bile.

DCL is twenty months younger than Sandro.

DCL is regarded as a player with huge potential(which he is )
Sandro is being considered as not being good enough for the Premiership although not much older and have achieved way more in senior football already than DCL and is tring to cope with a new, country, a new city, a new language, a new club and a new league and all at just 22.

Charlie Nicholas was on his back all night. Slagged his off when he took a free kick and punted it miles over the goal 'give it up you can't take a free kick son' were something along the lines. Showed footage of an attempt and Nicholas was laughing at him. Basically saying he's a bit of a headless chicken and DCL is a better player and finisher.
I'd certainly agree with that
