He'll have to grow a pair & stand up more. His salary has gone through the roof with this move but if he thinks he's made it, he's in for a wake up call. No doubt the ability is there but up top on his own isn't his game, he gets isolated and lacks the physical presence to make it stick when the ball arrives. Tough love for me; there is a player in there but looks off the pace, like the rest of the team.

Impact sub for now please.

Not giving up on him at all but needs to be used right.

And maybe given a chance or 2 to slot? Probably asking too much on that last one.

I said a couple of weeks ago he looked raw but after seeing a bit more of him he actually just looks fairly limited. Not awful or anything, just lacking that little something. Willing runner and not without his good points though.

Runs a lot, but shooting is poor.. He also looks to be too weak to play upfront in this league.
As someone said earlier, he may be able to be used as an impact sub this season and maybe given some game time in the EFL/EL.
Certainly too soon to write him off, but he hasn't shown how or why he could score goals in La Liga Except, of course, that there are easy games in La Liga and there just aren't in the Premier League.

I like him cos BOOM shot, but his mythical work rate is incredible. The finest exponent of the jog-sprint-give up closing down technique since Nikica Jelavic.
