Feel for the kids & parents that shelled out for Eto'o on their kit! Hope the club gives them a voucher or something.
VERY close to doing this for our kids but opted against thankfully

How times change. Eto'o seemed so happy and settled in the half-season ticket ads. We don't know what's gone on behind the scenes but it would seem he wants out. Shame because in a squad game with European games coming up he will get games

Definitely a weird spell that we'll look back on in years to come and wonder if it really happened. At least I was there to see him rip it up at Burnley though

Goodness me, bit kopite this.

Firstly, he has actually played a fair few games, secondly its Samuel effing Eto'o, he could've played 2 mins in a League Cup match vs Rochdale and I'd be getting his name on a shirt (if I ever bought a shirt, that is).

It's a shame he's leaving so soon but it was quite good whilst it lasted.

I don't think the club are obliged to offer anything those with him printed on their kit and their parents, however it would be a very Everton thing to do to offer them something as a gesture.

But why? A kit is a kit, and it now has a great of world football on the back. He came, he played, he scored, he jeffed off. We don't owe anyone anything.

Whatever happens, Samuel Eto'o played for us.

I don't think Martinez predicted Kone would make a recovery, him doing so has dropped Eto'o to 3rd choice striker. I don't blame him for moving, he will get more game time there. Good luck to him.
