At the time there was no option. Kanchelskis was in all kinds of trouble with unfriendly people and need money or it was something like that.

But Back to Etoo still not clear if he will be gone or stay here. Is it down to talk of wages? and I take it there will be no fee just goodbye.

It was mentioned the other day in one of the tabloids that it would be a free transfer, although I cannot verify this.

Simply, it may just be a way off alleviating his wages off the bill and brining in someone cheaper but just as effective; maybe even more so.
