My favourite memory of Sammy was when Benitez was banned to the stands for a couple of games - even though little Sammy was officialy #2, the FSW used him as a courier throughout the matches passing on written instructions to his Spanish coaches. I doubt there's ever been a more humiliating sight in fooball.

"He had an operation to remove kidney stones and was too ill for the touchline for a couple of games. Benitez was never once 'sent to the stands' in his time at LFC, you idiot."

I'm sure you'll all agree that makes a huge diffence to the point being made of Little Sammy Man Friday's lowly status at the Liverpool Football and Athletics Ground Company.
