Player Valuation: £15m
We desperately need some fresh faces...Howard, Cahill, Neville, Osman, Hibbert, Jagielka, Distin, Saha, Mcfadden, Anichebe, these players have been good in their day but we now need some new players as these players are not getting any younger and are injured more often than not..

I Know we are short of cash but until the above problem is addressed we can not expect anything more than an average season.

It's hard not to agree. I was thinking the same thing yesterday that we have been left behind. We are expecting too much from players like Osman, Hibbert, Neville, Saha, Cahill and Coleman but they either don't have it in them anymore (some probably never did) or they are just lacking in confidence. 5-10 yard passes going astray, players standing around (instead of running into space) in the front third, no tempo in our passing game, defense a shambles, and you can probably add a manager who is lacking in ideas/motivation. It's the first time since I can remember that Everton defeats don't effect me much anymore because I half expect us to get turned over. That is worrying.

Yes exactly it is worrying when you expect to get turned over against a very ordinary Newcastle side, There is no doubt that a win will breed new confidence and we are capable of going on a unbeaten run just like Newcastle, However this should not cover the cracks that have appeared in this ageing Everton side.

I was thinking, if I was a great young footballer (which I am) would i choose Everton or Man. Utd. I would choose Everton. Hope this helps.

As moyes has been saying since the start of season we need to lower expectations for this season. If you look at our squad it really has no right to finish anywhere higher than 8th.

This season has to be taken as a transition season for getting more experience for some younger lads and the end to some of the older face's. We also need to pray to god for a takeover to get some funds in for moyes to try and compete.

I think moyes probably thought he had taken us as far as he could with no more money for players before the sales of pienaar, Arteta ect so I do feel he's on a bit of a downer himself this year. Hopefully he gets some Xmas money of BK to cheer him up a little for a late assault on Europe.

finish any higher than 8, you see thats the problem sides around us over us and the 3 that are under us all have money
to spend and have bought players in, Everton sold good players and got in fcuk all that will only end in a bottom 3 finish
