I actually spoke to him and Callum Connolly at the Leicester FA Cup game last year. Byrne told me then that he was fully recovered and raring to go.

Having a vested Irish interest I thought happy days but unfortunately haven’t seen sight nor sound of him since.

I just presumed he had fallen down the pecking order.

I know sam personally .. cracking kid , had a serious injury but hes been doing PT's sessions to get back to full fitness which he is at the moment

so i dunno whats going on .. he loves a bevvy tho

he was crap before he broke his leg, i think we only offered him a yrs contract extension because it would have been heartless to throw him out while he was recovering.
why we put his name down in the 25 man squad is anyones guess, another bizarre decision from koeman/walsh to add to the list.
