Favourite Everton moment of the season:

"Hi, Sam"

"I HAVE A CONTRACT!"

"What do you have?"

"I HAVE A CONTRACT!"

"Who has a contract?"

"I HAVE A CONTRACT!

I.... HAVE... A.... CON... TRACT!"
He's just reminding them upstairs it's going to cost them 6 million notes to get his fat arse out the door.

You have to hand it to him, he's a 'kin business genius.

I'm looking forward to the thread at Christmas, when we're 4th from bottom.

"Allardyce, will he come back and save us"
And something like that i expect to be on sky, papers etc, were we wrong to sack someone that saved us from relegation, despite only been 2 points from 9th place when he took over, and have other fans say it serves you right etc lol

BE CAREFUL WHAT YOU WISH FOR

Gladly pay it to him, looked like we may be in a relegation scrap when he arrived, he kept us up comfortably which we are grateful for. What we can't forgive is the dire football on display once we were safe, had we opened up and tried to play some decent stuff and still got beat I think most of us could have accepted it but he still plays to not lose and hopes to nick a win. Not good enough.

"I don't get involved in anything regarding transfers in and out"

"It's not my responsibility anymore to get involved"

Two key quotes for me from that presser.

Them two quotes are taken out of context. The key word missing is negotiations, he goes on to explain that the role of a manager has changed in recent years and its not in there role to be involved with negotiations as in years gone by.

Yep,the same media that has not give a stuff about us when we have done well [ish],5th/6th/7th etc,to now never shut up about us since we send the survey out
If it was just a general survey about the day to day running of the club, it wouldn't have got a mention.

Mention one of the old boys, and they all close ranks. It's big business and this punditry lark. Nobody wants to rock the boat and get chucked out of the club.

But he should still be "Involved" and have "responsibility" for players coming in and out. Would you agree?
