At first you state he has won F all, when if fact he has won multiple league titles and trophies in Europe.

Then you state that no decent league would touch him with a bargepole? Are you forgetting Serie A or the Premiership? And what about the job he's doing at Palace at the moment?

How many other managers can you name who have a career spanning over 40 years with multiple title wins, multiple cup wins. Has managed in many countries and International sides.

Like I said, I don't think he's the greatest manager in the world and he's not what I would want for Everton but he's certainly better than Allardyce and a lot of the other dross out there who haven't won anything or managed anywhere other than England.

Hasn't won anything since 2001 and that was the Danish super cup/ league double with Copenhagen. Who since then have won 10 of the last 17 seasons. With some absolute dross managing them.

Had significant investment at inter and only got them to a 7th place finish in his first season and 3rd in his second. Playing such bad football it made Roberto Carlos quit inter ffs.

Done nothing at any club worth note. Only won anything in the Scandinavian leagues being in charge of the best teams in their leagues.

Was a mid table manager at his best. Now is barely a relagation battling manager. Showed how bad he is a manager at Liverpool and england. The sooner him and his ilk are gone from football the better.
 

So instead of moving on from FSA and paying him 6m for the last year of the contract they are going to give him ANOTHER year's extension and have to wind up paying 9m when the proverbial poop hits the fan next season? Where in the hell is the logic in that?

And that “good will” factor kept many people, myself included, onside with Bobby for probably longer than it should have.

I think Moshiri will get the next two games out the way and say nowt in the close season other than Sam is contracted at the club.

Allardyce will get on with doing what he does over the summer, free from malcontented fans taunting him from the terraces.

The fun will start in earnest if we have a sluggish start to next season.

The rift between the fans and the club hierarchy will be stretched to breaking point if we are sitting mid table in October, playing the same garbage we have seen since Sam came in and with a couple of non trying thrashings by Spurs or United thrown in.

And imagine a one year extension to his contract being thrown into the mix :mad:

I for one am not ruling that out :(

I'd like to add Roy Hodgson’s record at Fulham, where he led them to seventh place in the Premier League, their highest ever finish, qualifying for European football in 2009.

Hodgson then guided Fulham to the final of the UEFA Europa League, beating Juventus, Wolfsburg and Hamburg on the way. Their limited resources were only revealed in the final, when they lost to a late goal against Atletico Madrid.

He was recognised as LMA Manager of the Year in 2010. He is also one of the few English managers who have proved themselves in a major league abroad.
