It's crystal clear the Club have given the nod to their media mates to brief against Allardyce almost at will now. Backed up by his own attack dogs spinning his propoganda. For the sake of EFC it needs to be over soon and I'm convinced the good news will come around 5pm on May 13th.

I hope we batter Newcastle on Monday, same as I hope we snot Huddersfield, Southampton and West Ham. It is possible to want both that and to be rid of this egotistical dinosaur.

In the same way that I reckon EFC know who their next mgr, DoF and signings are I'd expect Allardyce to have media contracts sitting on his desk so he can pull apart Fonseca from the comforts of a Dubai studio.

Sam turning around and effectively trying to throw the marketing director to the press wolves has yet again showed that no matter how much of a mess we can make of things - and do at times, he is a million times worse, same bloke who lost his big job after one game cos he couldn't keep his fingers out the jar, same bloke who has had two prior chances with clubs with the potential to be more than a bottom 5 team - in Newcastle and West Ham and blew both leaving the fans despising him quickly

He wants to be seen as a modern progressive manager - he's the complete opposite no matter how much he talks about analytics, stats and sports science, proof is what he delivers on the pitch with his teams.
He wants to be seen as some form of great wit, clever and funny, he just comes across as arrogant, egocentric and a uncouth buffoon - just see him saying at an official press conference - 11/10 and actually saying '[Poor language removed]' - which just sums him up as a analogue manager in a digital age.

Think you are pretty spot on with all of that mate, part of me still wonders if there is some clause inserted in Allardyces contract come the summer - meaning either no/or a reduced compensation, as i have rarely seen any manager appearing to try to get sacked the way he is atm, alienate the fans - yup at every opportunity and presser, call out the owner effectively yesterday - yup, insulted players and club staff over the last month - yup and several times, made it seem like Kenwright did a grovelling apology - yup.

IF there is one supporter left that he hasn't covered trying to alienate i would be shocked.

Allardyce given a 18 month contract, big bonus if he successfully keeps us up, termination clause both parties could activate in the summer - meaning no or reduced compensation is paid.

Most profitable (and we know Sam likes profit), would be keeping the club up and then trying to force a sacking before seasons end to get a full pay out...

I’m genuinely gobsmacked you believe that Kenwright giving us negative netspends and selling our good players contributed to us having European campaigns. Incredible.

Any high league finish has been in spite of Kenwright, not because of him. We could have easily been relegated with our no -existent budget.

The club seem to think that moving to Bramley-Moore Dock is going to transform us now, so do the fans. You don’t think having the best stadium in Europe at the time would have made any difference? We would have been at the forefront for the investment that was coming into the Premier League.

What clubs? Have: Arsenal, Liverpool or Man Utd fell down the divisions in that time? They were the club’s who we were linked with, before Kenwright came on board. Think people forget that little fact that Kenwright has been on the board a lot longer than he hasn’t been the chairman.
