He said today post match that he is going to wait till the summer and look at things.

Don’t even get me started on Walsh and his clueless recruitment policy. But we are where we are until the summer so binning BFS now won’t do anything.

The only argument is that with Walcott and Touson in maybe someone like Rhino might be better equipped to get results now but I have my doubts.

I think Big Sam will just about keep us up, but there's no way we will finish in the top 10.

We have a squad that's full of mediocre players. That's not their fault and it's not Sam's fault, but it's true.

I agree but not sure if the club has a ready made replacement waiting in the wings so the summer won’t be lost. It makes sense to bin BFS now if a new man is ready to walk in immediately. Then plans for the summer activity can start in earnest.

Mind you Walsh would negate any new manager effect with his signing anyhow

I would use the term ‘fans’ quite loosely. Judging by this forum most of them seem to despise everything about the club at the moment.

Hi mate, could you suggest a more "acceptable " way to make our feelings of displeasure known ?

Not so long ago, he would`ve been getting his fat head taken off with flying cushions.

I`d say on the whole Everton fans are a pretty reasonable bunch and we`re lauded in the press and by pundits a like for our support over the years.

Unfortunately it looks like a tipping point has been reached, when even the " moderate fans " have had enough.

If this was Greece, Turkey or Italy, there`d be riots after games like the most recent debacle at Burnley. ( which I`m not advocating by the way )

I`d say that under the circumstances, we`ve been quite tolerant.

As much as I dislike Big Sam's managerial skills, or lack thereof, I don't buy this idea that he's just here for the money and is indifferent as to how well we do.

I met Big Sam at a function not long after the FA Cup defeat at Anfield and he seemed really gutted about it. He also said that he thought there hadn't been an Everton team that was worthy of the Everton fanbase for almost 30 years.

Yes, we're not in a much better position than we were when Rhino left, but I just don't get the accusations about Big Sam not caring.

So what if he laughed when the interviewer told him that we fans hated him? He was hardly going to break down in tears. That's just not his style.

I've met Sam as well and he seems a decent guy and a real football man.

In real life he's like a completely different bloke to the persona you see on the telly.
