So by that logic chucking money at a new stadium wont guarantee success either.
It won't make us more successful will it? It will generate us more money.
But if we continue to employ people who think 10m on Williams 30m on Bolasie, 24m on Klaassen (the list goes on) are good deals, any money generated will continue to be squandered. And success will evade us.
We need a clear vision. An identity. If the Fonseca rumours are true, how many of those players currently are going to fit his system? Is he going to need more player? Likely. So Moshiri will have been here a considerable amount of time yet we'll be going into another rebuild.
It smacks of short-termism, a point validated by the appointment of Big Sam.
