So Mr Moshiri has only just started thinking about a replacement? Haha. Even with full intentions of parting company with Allardyce soon as the season ends. All this guessing leads me to assume Allardyce is here to see out his contract, sadly.

Initially i thought we may as well keep him till end of season, but thinking about it...how much will it actually cost to get rid of him now? prob not much more.. and gives us a chance to fully evaluate squad...get rid now! (maybe)

Interesting one for sure. Hard to make a judgement really without knowing somebody who's been coached by him or knows him but by all accounts he was outstanding on the courses.

Very little experience but I think as you've covered earlier does that really deserve the weighting it gets? If he was being considered you'd like to think Mosh is doing his groundwork and talking to respected views in the game. If he feels it's a chance worth taking why not?

Can see him wanting to play decent footy that's for sure!
 

These are quotes from his time at Palace, he must have a book with all the excuses he needs written down for when needed, carbon copy of what he's been saying here the last two months.

'The players are having difficulty following instructions and sticking to their game plan'

'At the moment the players are failing. We'll have to see about bringing in new ones'.

'The players are responsible - the advice I've been giving over the years has to have been good cos I've been managing at the top level for years.'

'The players have to change and do what the coaches are saying. My experience and qualifications are far greater than theirs'.

Neither was Pochettino and he has done alright, no love for Eddie Howe ? He plays nice football is young and probably available for the right price. I think we will struggle to get a so called high profile name due to the mess we are in and these names will have many clubs after them so why us ? Still stunned that we actually gave this dinosaur a chance and he has performed exactly as many on here said he would.

We’re a project with the resources to support it for the right candidate. I’d be chomping at the bit.
 

He got an opportunity that he, arguably, didn't deserve. If he'd stayed in retirement then he could've dined out on 'what could have been' if he got to a big club with funds but, he went back tot he well & sadly for us, proved he had nothing else in his bag of tricks.

I've said before that I didn't mind him being given the opportunity to be more than a relegation battler but he failed to do any more than that. Personally, I'm not inclined to have ANOTHER manager appointed this season, but I think the justification for him staying is getting weaker by the day.

The longer he stays, the more likely it is we'll be relegated.

Make no mistake, our current form is relegation form. Aside from a few lucky wins in his first few games, Allardyce has been an absolute disgrace here. If it wasn't for a handful of penalties we'd likely be in the relegation zone already.

There is nothing to suggest our form will improve or that we'll pick up points any time soon.

A new face is desperately needed. If we can't get Fonseca go and offer Silva an 18 months contract with an additional year depending on his success. He's join us in a heartbeat.
