He got an opportunity that he, arguably, didn't deserve. If he'd stayed in retirement then he could've dined out on 'what could have been' if he got to a big club with funds but, he went back tot he well & sadly for us, proved he had nothing else in his bag of tricks.
I've said before that I didn't mind him being given the opportunity to be more than a relegation battler but he failed to do any more than that. Personally, I'm not inclined to have ANOTHER manager appointed this season, but I think the justification for him staying is getting weaker by the day.
