The bad news for the Sam haters is Arsenal debacle aside we finally have some balance in attack.
There's Oumar's goal threat, the energy of an improving Davies, a deep Rooney looking compatible with Sygy and Sam's pick Theo looking a revelation.
It's the left side of defence where we still have big problems but summer could see a new left back and central partner for a growing Keane.
Sam could see us comfortably 7th next season maybe even 6th if Arsenal decline a lot more. Awfully tempting for businessman Mosh to stick when stability is vital to land the funds that'll advance his stadium project.
All depends on results to season end as Sam has stated. I expect if they're good he stays. If not it's Silva.

The problem we have with Allardyce is he will change it against Watford and leave Rooney out. He makes no sense with his tinkering

We beat half a Crystal Palace side. Arsenal would have to decline an awful lot to get to Fat Sam's level, have you air brushed last week out of your memory.

The commercial importance of attendances has dramatically declined with the exponential growth of TV revenue. The boring football that Sam can produce could harm the club commercially but it's more about making the team unattractive to a national and international tv audiance.
Sam's clearly aware of this as he's said his future depends on results AND entertainment. The last 2 home games have seen us create far more chances due the attack finally gelling. If that continues and he can improve our away form he'll make it hard for Mosh to choose that stability over the expence and upheaval of mass sackings and the gamble of appointing Silva / Fonseca.

I don't believe Moshirir is at Everton to finish 7/8/9 and bow out of cups early. He, and whomsoever his backers may be, want some success. That means top 6/4, cup win, Fat Sam won't deliver that. He was brought in to steady things and provide some space to get a proper manager. Gone in May.
I would start trending Fat Sam #Gone in May but I don't know what that means.

PMSL there at Allardyce on MOTD getting interviewed by Lineker and claiming that home form has been good and everyone is entertained by it.

What a shameless hank that feller is.

He DOES seem to be fighting again for another season in charge too. We're on the verge here of consolidating ourselves as an embarrassment of a club.

That 'kin clown Moshiri has killed us in terms of any positive identity. Useless carpet bagging spiv.

Dave, I have said it before and I will say it again. I have doubts that BfS has nay idea how to go about setting up an attacking team and attacking football. If that is his idea of home form then he is an utter idiot.

Indeed the gulf is very large and it'll be very hard to bridge without Chelsea / City type investment in players and the money just isn't there. That remains true with Sam or without.

I’m quite alright with Moshiri, I genuinely think he wants the club to be a success and is prepared to back any manager, but if he dares keeps this fraud of a manager past May, he can forget any support from the fan base.

This manager has the most misplaced arrogance I have ever seen. How dare he walk around like he is cock of the walk?

Said it before the Palace game mate, if we beat them then all of a sudden everything would be rosey in the garden again for some, they just can't see past those blue tinted specs.

We are setting up differently from home games to away games. Fat Sam has the same Moyes mentality for away games and plays not to lose. He will never change. Leaving Siggy and Rooney on the bench at Arsenal was negligence and told us everything we already knew about BFS. It will not change.

BFS has grinded out the points to make us safe and that was what he was brought in for so job basically done. He signed a gem in Walcott so credit there but he IMO didn't do enough in the January window to give himself a chance of an extended contract so hopefully will be gone come summer.

The sad thing is I think he’ll get it. Moshiri will trust his Dof (don’t know why) to get the right players. Bfs will get to Christmas to ensure mid table mediocrity, but enough for us to be safe and then Moshiri may be tempted. Cheaper compo as well.

I have no faith in Sam Hammam at all so I wouldn't discount that scenario.

Laughing me bollocks off though at Allardyce saying post match that Everton supporters are being entertained. The hard faced hoofball, bung merchant. The games where we created a single or no shots on target forgotten about because we eased past one of the worst teams in the league at home when they were without their best player.
