He was employed with full knowledge from the board that he is a defensive manager who would keep us safe.

This is what happens when he tries something different. Awful.

We will continue to be utterly woeful with this side regardless of the manager. They are the worst side in terms of attitude I've ever seen play for us and they not far off the worst in terms of ability either. How many managers have to be blamed and lose their job before people wake up to the reailty that this side is the problem. They are horrible and have stopped playing under the last four managers. They don't care about the club, they don't care about the fans, they don't care about the manager, they don't even care about professional pride. They're a total disgrace. If anyone needs to be forced out of this club it's half these players.

However, he has also persisted in playing Martina, which Spurs fully exploited today. Change the setup of the back 4 or something!

Love how it groups Palace and Southampton in with United in terms of style....yet both are bottom half of them prem and won't move out of their anytime soon. But yeah, fair play them playing attack minded football and not getting results.

It bunches us with Burnley...a team above us and who's manager a lot wanted here.

But again, I've always said it's down to personnel. Our attack is weak and unbalanced. If we don't score, we tended to concede and heavily. We still can't score freely but we've stopped conceding.

Now we've bought a striker and maybe another attacker. So let's see this "cluster" at the end of the season
We’ve conceded 10 goals in last 4 games not sure how that equals we’ve stopped conceding?

..i’m not disagreeing but I wonder if anybody can make this group of players tight at the back and have the quality and pace to counter attack.

It’s not difficult, half the danger we’ve found ourselves in today is due to Martina being a complete fool of a footballer. Spurs obviously did their homework and pinpoint that area to attack.
We can’t defend and we can’t Attack down the left as Martina is so afraid to try anything. The whole team is unbalance because of one unqualified professional footballer.

Lookman not playing is a obvious mistake as well. We badly need players to run with the ball, again selection mistake by big Sam.

Our back 4 chooses to hoof most of the time and no striker in this world can win the ball vs 4 defenders on his own but we keep employing this tactics.

Tell me how is it not the managers responsibility to alter this [Poor language removed]

He really should not change the way he is which is the only thing he is good at.

Don't know what people were expecting. Sam Allerdyce is never going to turn a club in to top 4 competitors. His only use is "doing a job" and avoiding relegation. We have another season of this garbage to look forward to

He needs results again soon. In fairness he got us points before xmas and hopefully will do so again in coming winnable games. But you are right. He is not going to get us into europel but neitber are these players. I would have none of the back 4 near the team. Rooney cannot play against top teams. Lennon is junk. Etc etc.
