Saha played in Van der Sar's testimonial

Saha took his goal well, was easy - long ball snuck behind the defence, Saha cooly slotted it home with his left leg. Considering Saha is both a Fulham and United legend, like VDS, it's not to see him get the recognition.

Heitinga played too, you can see him in the highlights: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5b3VKPap13o

Such a lineup though. Bergkamp & Rooney on top. Sick sick sick.

Another nice thing was at the end of the match, VDS' son gets to take a penalty against his dad. Saved.

6 months without a goal is a loooooooooong time pal.

Keep going. It was more like a year. *goes to have a look* He got 2 against Chelsea on 10 Feb 2010. He didn't score another league goal until 5 Jan 2011 against Spurs.

It is yeah, and being honest I was starting to slate him a bit too, and rightly so. He just didn't deserve to receive criticism to the level he did.

I was at the Tottenham game and he was brilliant, really good goal and his all round play was very tidy.

It's great when a player proves you wrong.

Wonder if he is available next season, one of the best players I've seen.

You don't lose class like that as you get old, even now he'd be the best forward we have!

this. he is far and away the most talented forward we have.

Don't want to get into dissecting his record, or his performances, worth to us, but talent alone is nothing if it doesn't deliver results....

I dont know whats more suroiseing mate the goals or the games - what a player - he will never play more then half the games for us though will he.

Moyes should probably use him sparingly rather than play him constantly until he does eventually break down. His record in other competitions for us is about 1 in 2 as well. Considering that we don't create a lot of chances for him, it's phenomenal. He'd just signed a new contract when his dry spell began. Maybe he thought he could take his foot off the gas?
