Reidy's Bottle Of Grecian

The Unobstructed View
Sacked / given his cards / outstayed his welcome.

Just gave our useless window dirtier the bullet, watched him not clean the windows, missed out 3 of the upstairs ones and the lads bedroom he just pushed around the rain on the pane. He didn't even take his ladder next door ffs, suspicions have been rife that he doesn't do them properly and this time I was in and skulking in the shadows, well not really I was walking round the house and he even knew I was in. Folks have had stuff go missing as well so he's lucky that I caught him not cleaning and didn't catch him thieving, tbh I wanted rid when we found out his son is a paedo... a repeat offender at that, and he goes visiting etc and hasn't cut him off.

Very liberating experience, in fact I might start taking people on just so that I can sack them.

It's got to be done carefully so the staff members dont go all around town bad mouthing the business.

More of a 'you've outgrown this role' sort of sacking.

i'm not sure my window cleaners do the job properly but they look like heavies. i feel it's like paying them protection money; they have a job for life!

In the spirit of the times, you should have told him it was part of your spending review and that the Department of Window Affairs was being trimmed by 100%.

Its better to terminate contracts for jarg reasons, rather than fire these days, in these crazy zany HR world.

Obviously for the window cleaner you can tell him just to do one without having to deal with a tribunal.
