It appears to be more about his comments regarding the club’s transfer policy, which suggested there was a lot of disharmony.Looks like he's been sacked due to transfer policy rather than the 9-0 loss, which of course, hasn't helped him

He knew what that was though, they were never going to spend loads when they got promoted, they simply can't. Thing with Bournemouth is when Howe was there they threw everything at climbing through the divisions into the PL but it meant they ended up with a tiny ground (not their own) and training ground which is sub standard by all accounts. The owner/board want to do more with the infrastructure of the club and Parker knew that, he just doesn't like it. He whinged at Fulham and is doing it again now, not a manager for me.It appears to be more about his comments regarding the club’s transfer policy, which suggested there was a lot of disharmony.
I can't stand the club. They deserve everything that's coming to them for giving the RS £40m for Solanke, Ibe and Smith...that should be a criminal offence.I completely agree.
Apparently they have played 5 at the back all season, yet against that lot they play 4.
Another tube that doesn’t want to upset Herr Shipman. [Poor language removed] house player and a [Poor language removed] house manager. Rightfully sacked.
I agree to an extent. While you can be displeased with the situation, he ultimately knew the situation that the club was in and their MO.He knew what that was though, they were never going to spend loads when they got promoted, they simply can't. He turned us down he won’t go to Villa
Aston Villa before the World CupParker won't be out of work long. He gets clubs promoted.
And he always looks smart on the sideline.
I don't think its a case of being happy, more a case of needing to tighten the purse strings for a while.I agree to an extent. While you can be displeased with the situation, he ultimately knew the situation that the club was in and their MO.
Still, if the club are to survive in the PL then there has to be adequate investment in the squad otherwise you become a yo-yo club, at best.
Maybe they’re happy with that - like the Norwich board - but as a manager it could and probably should be frustrating.
Sunderland?Aston Villa before the World Cup![]()
I’m sure he said he wasn’t InterestedDid we even offer it him?
I don't think he was ever in the clubs plans because he wasn't in Moshiri's 2005 Panini sticker book

Those weird stripes on the arm of his grey jumper worry meParker won't be out of work long. He gets clubs promoted.

100%So harsh on him, gets them promoted, wins his first game of the season, let's blame him for playing 2 of the best teams in Europe and a team in seriously good form looking awesome in 3 of his first 4 games.
I don't think the performances got him sacked, I think it's his comments after the game tbh.
