Those 70,000 fighters he was talking about belong to the FSA. Thing is though the FSA couldn't give a rat's arse about ISIS. Their focus is 100% fixed on defeating Assad and now the Russians, Cubans and Iranians as well! They are in no position to support team Dave.

I agree we have to do something but I'm dismayed that dodgy dave and his Joint chiefs of staff have only managed to come up with the plan of dropping bombs on Raqqa...FFS!

I would fk Turkey off and pour in money, support, intel, training and equipment for the Kurds - let them deal with ISIS. After it's over though they will want their own homeland. Hence the borders of the middle east will need to re-drawn, with the emergence of the new and independent nation of Kurdistan.

Meanwhile Putin has a chat with Assad and offers him the choice of nice Dacha on the outskirts of Moscow or a drop of polonium in his coffee.- paving the way for free elections in Syria.
