I really enjoyed Sunday , not the best crowd but a good game . Bennett has certainly put a winning mentality into the game , Also good to see at least one Evertonian come away from anfield with a win .

Aye, you sense (and for some time now) that mentally the English lads always believe they can beat New Zealand, but that same belief is never there against Australia. The talent is there to be really competitive against any side, just needs that belief.

As an aside, the young Saints lad at loose forward looks a real player. Don't think we'll see Lockers in the team again with him around.

Luke Thompson ? Yeah given his age and experience he looks fantastic and is only going to get better .

Talking of saints Few of the old saints and England players went in to have a few words before the game and they were genuinely excited to be involved . Enjoyed themselves in town afterwards as well , like being on tour .

Aye, that's him. Looks a super player. Runs it in nice and hard. Being a pie eater I don't follow Saints much, but do you think Graham will come back? He's getting on a bit now so can't have many years left. You'd think he'd perhaps do a Morley and come back to Super League for a season or two, but will it be with Saints?

No I think jammer will probably stay now I think , before he went to st George I think it was maybe a possibility but he loves it over there lifestyle Money and the rest . The is always that possibility he might have a little but left in him but personally I don’t think so , his Missus is Canadian actually so you never know if he did Toronto night beckon.

Aye, I'm sure he'll stay out there as long as he's wanted by a club, it's if his legs are no longer up to it I suppose. It's a bit sad that this is the level Super League is at, but that's probably a fair reflection.

They’re full on celebrities over though which is incredible when current and former England captains can walk around Liverpool and nobody recognises them not to mention that a lot of pretty decent ex players have to have proper jobs after they retire but even into his 30’s someone like Graham can still earn about £60k a month

Tommy Makinson awarded the golden boot , just a fantastic honour for him but the good grace and dignity the Australians have taken the decision with is just as heart warming .
