Is he good enough to displace Howard? Howard is young in goalkeeping terms so could be here for another decade yet. It would be nice to think that Ruddy and Turner could provide some real competition.

Moyes gets a hard on signing keepers i'm sure of it
its a definite possibility. turn-ons aside, he might just be trying to keep howard at the top of his game by bringing in fresh competition. the wessels signing surprised me, but I have noticed howard has been playing better since then, though it could just be mere coincidence.
i think it'd be better if moyes stopped putting wessel on our substitute bench, and just counted on jagielka should something happen to howard ( i think sheffield used to do that), it'd free up that spot for another substitution option that could come in handy. but considering moyes's keeper fetish i doubt that's likely
