delighted to see our ex keeper ruddy make the squad in fairness his been brillant this season and deserves to go as there is a shortage of english quality keepers and he,s not going to stay at norwich for ever so maybe were see him back at some stage?????

doubt we have bit in fairness even as a kid was always getting good reviews at everton just needed games at a lower level hopefully we do mind!

We let him go and hesitated when Joe Hart was at Shrewsbury over the price of 150k.

Howard is still good for a few years yet though so it's not all doom and gloom.

Good on ya John. Saw his first (and possibly only) game for us. Against Blackburn when Turner came out of his net in the first 10 minutes and picked the ball up, red card. Ruddy made a great save at 0-0, I recall. Was surprised to not see him again after that.

Still wouldn't be on our bench if he was still here, just the way it works. Good to see an Evertonian move on and get on with his career. Can't have anything but good luck for the lad.

Not really, we could've sent him out on loan, like Chelsea did with Courtois.

aww its defo not gloom and gloom howard has 3 or 4 more good years in him but be nice to have a replacement lined up

Just doesn't sound the best does it ?? England player loaned out by Everton 9 times !!

In his time at the club we loaned Sander Westerveld, and played him instead !!
