Not long back, and baby steps. Deffo recognised me, eyes open at times and followed the nurse as she walked round the bottom of her bed. Moving her legs and arms, and had 15 minutes off the ventilator.

Was asleep when I left, kissed her forehead, told I would see her tomorrow, and her eyes opened, looked at me, and closed again.

Her sister was touched when I just told her about you lot, wouldnt be surprised if she is lurking later!

Excellent. Cognition is still there. Very happy to hear that, roydo. Lot of baby steps make big steps.

One more message of sincere best wishes to Mrs R, yourself and all your friends and family. Remember to take care of yourself and accept any support that others can lend, it will help them as well as you.

Unaware of the background to this, but if it's of some small benefit, I'd like my thoughts and support to be known. Always liked Roydo's balanced approach to debate and thought him the most appropriate of mods on here.
Whatever the situation I wish him and his family all the strength they need to get through this difficult time.
