Roy Keane on signing Robbie Savage....

I hated Roy Keane. Had he played for us however he'd have been on of my all time hero's. He's a winner, always gave everything on the pitch and that's what I pay money for watching this sport.

Even at 34, Roy Keane would of been boss for us, 100% fan favourite. Brilliant player.
That show ITV did a while back on Keane and Viera was superb.

He is the equivalent of Steven Gerrard, he had the ability to drag a game back by the scruff of the neck.

No messing, something that doesn't occur very often. I'm praying Ross can reach these heights.

Jesus man. he was 100 times the player Gerrard is/was

sorry but he's a complete and utter bellend who in any other profession would have been put in jail for his assualt on that man city player.

he is 100% pure breed scum, loves the sound of his own voice and thinks he's well hard when he's blatantly not, he's just a bad tempered irish man who hates everything and everyone.

just because he says a few obvious truths which everyone else in the world has been saying for years doesn't change any of this, pure breed scummer.

I lived in ireland for a while, and Keane is pretty much like most I met. Straightforward, no frills, can smell bullshit a mile off and doesn't stand for it. and hard as nails

He could only manage another dozen or so games for Celtic, I can't see how he'd have offered anything to us his knee was shot by the time Utd got rid of him.

Just finished reading the book. It isn't anywhere near as dramatic as the journalists would have you believe, it's a good read but a lot of the stuff has been blown way out of proportion. (as always!)

I think two whole chapters about the beard was a bit much.

Difference been when selling a book. Keane would go out and break up heads on or off the pitch himself.
He certainly would,nt rely on his scally mates ringing him for his say so.

Not to mention that other coward who got his mates to attack a defenceless DJ.

Roy Keane respected big Dunc because they were cut from the same cloth....
And in almost every other aspect of their personal beliefs they would disagree..

But could you imagine on the piss them, the craic would be 90 FFS!!!
