You've got to remember that pricing is all done by computer these days ie the fares go up automatically as numbers rise.Isn't that profiteering? And isn't it illegal?

No of course not, it's normal buisness practice for any industry, planes, hotels and trains, it's yield management driven by supply and demand.Isn't that profiteering? And isn't it illegal?
If you mean the sbb.ch site, just use the calendar to put the date in and then the time. It gave me options for February 19 without any problem.
Note that in many European countries time is written with a colon and not a full stop.

So, if I'm flying to Switzerland on a plane full of Evertonians going to the match, I must pay an inflated fare price even thoughNo of course not, it's normal buisness practice for any industry, planes, hotels and trains, it's yield management driven by supply and demand.
I think we all know the answer to that Jeff. Supply and demand....the great price-setting mechanism of the civilised World. So, if I'm flying to Switzerland on a plane full of Evertonians going to the match, I must pay an inflated fare price even though
I'm not going to it?

We're gonna smash Young Boys.
Do you not need a Swiss railcard for it to be that cheap? All over it if not.
its the 'barkley shoots inside the young boys box' type commentary im dreading
I seem to be having similar difficulties as you from what you said the other day. As far as I can tell, it makes you select a certain date range - and February is not yet available. It does show the fare prices and times at first but when you go to purchase them it tells me that I have to select a date range. Then there is the bit where it's only showing discounted prices as it's assuming you're Swiss and have one of those cards.
Has anyone actually managed to book trains yet using that SBB site?
