Absolutely baffled why people think he's turned down Chelsea because he wants to stay.

He's turned down Chelsea because he wants to go to Spurs, and he knows he can go in January , as they don't want him till then because he's no hamstring.

He's helping Spurs out already by staying with us for treatment and a reduced fee. We shouldn't even be letting him train with us, he's being a bad bad tit with us.

He wears Lonsdale t shirts as well. Swerve

I think broadly correct, but I think Spurs have been prepared to wait rather than the player. There's nothing Barkley can do about that. Injury has come at an awful time for him and us.

There's no realistic way back for him here, that's for sure.

Why would he go to Chelsea? There's no evidence their management want him as a player.
It's likely simply an opportunity to pick up a young English talent at a reduced fee and make a profit later. A fit Ross simply isn't good enough to make their first team consistently and he knows it.
Spurs management really do seem to rate him and he knows that he has a much better chance of furthering his career with them.
