AOC is a good footballer and consistent.
Ross is a good footballer but inconsistent.

Yes but they are buying for the next 5+years, not for the next 3 months

AOC is a good footballer and consistent.
Ross is a good footballer but inconsistent.

AOC is anything but consistent, plays a blinder, then is poor. He's just as frustrating as Ross.

One plays for England?

Means nothing when the likes of Livermore is playing regularly.

The only reason I can think of is that Wenger has said he's happy for players to see out the final year, where as Koeman said Ross has to be sold if he wont sign a new deal. Less leverage.

AOC has won stuff, played for a regular top 4 side for a long time and still gets a game for his country.

RB meets none of the above criteria.

You could make a case for who is better at what different part of their game, but overall on paper, AOC has better pedigree and is probably seen as a safer bet than this massive fanny.
