Ross Barkley

Barkley probably has more innate talent but he's a confidence player and it shows. He'll have two, three brilliant games when he's on a high, then crash and have a bunch of subpar games. Sigurdsson works hard and is more consistent. I'd take him over Barkley any day. I thought we should have sold Barkley two seasons ago when more clubs would have been interested.

Ross is younger and more athletic. He is not better at actual football though. Potentially he could...but the problem is he lacks mental strength. He also doesn't work nearly as hard as Gylfi.

Sorry...only when Ross is playing confidently would I say that...which waxes and wanes wildly throughout a 38 game season.

Jack Rodwell was gonna be a world beater at 18 he it a level and never improved, and I feel this is exactly what's happened .I don't think Ross is ever gonna reach his full potential. Shame really he could be so good if he got his head in gear.

Jeffers, Rodwell gosling, branch etc, all could of been decent players, all bailed.
