Has he actually been offered a contract? Didn't Koeman say earlier in the season that they would discuss Ross' contract at the end of the season? Is this not just Koeman stating the obvious, we offer him a contract and he will either sign it or we will sell. Not he must sign the contract in front of him or we will sell him?

Pretty sure that Walsh even said yesterday that 'there will be an offer' for Ross. And it'll be up to him if he signs it.

He has been offered a new contract. Koeman said so himself in his press conference after the game. He said Barkley needs to sign it, otherwise he will be sold.

I don't think it has been having many negative impacts on him though.

And by stories, I meant you know - things like him getting into scraps, or rolling out of a night club hammered etc.

Apart from last night, has there been another story/rumour like that?

Thing is I dont think they can both go, if Ross dont sign he has to go and I think RK will then tell Rom he is going nowhere. For one reason we wont need even more money and the other reason it will mean too much of a rebuilding job. Even if they both sign we have re-building work to do, if these players go we have to start again from the beginning.
