Apparently according to arl tweet tweet, lad who sparked him was a blue and Barkley's been slotting his bird. It started about 20 mins before that but got separated.

Maybe that's why Ross taped the lads chin. He was saying "lad, this how my balls hit ye bids kite"

Don't think he gets knocked out either. You can see someone trying to grab him in the corner and it looks like Ross with the haircut

I think society's changed now though. Footballers are paid to much, and because money now seems more important than it used to, jealousy is bound to creep in. Plus social media etc. I don't think I'd go out to a bar if I was a player these days.

I must have bumped into you in there around that time mate as I used to go there every weekend!! surprised about snods,he jumped in a taxi with a couple of mates of mine at the taxi rank on lord Street soon after signing for us,got dropped off in birkdale and made sure he gave the driver enough to cover us to go through to Ainsdale then formby!!

It's tricky. Ross could be out in a resturant with his Misses and someone comes up and smacks him unprovoked or out shopping (judging from the footage it certainly doesn't look like Barkley was kicking off before he was hit) so where do you draw the line.

It does look like him at the bottom of the screen. The lad in the white top pulls him away and you can see Ross trying to grab him

Very true, but the risk of getting bingoed in a night club is lot higher due to the chances that 90% of the people out would have snorted a couple of grams if the devils dandruff

Echo have picked it up now.... Give it an hour and it will be on Sky.... This is the last thing Barkley needs and I can't see Koeman being too happy with him. Shame that our media and marketing dept havent been able to cover this up, not good for the lad at all.

Yeah, again didn't see it first time round but when I rewatched it you can see him pulling himself up.

TBH its convenient the filming stops at that point and not the afters...

Not saying its anyone, or any colour, trying to fit an agenda or anything like, I mean "Barkley gets knocked out" is more powerful then "Barkley gets a sly dig then gets up and goes after the lad"....

I hope it's not a case of him not starting the next game or 2 if he has a big black eye/broken nose etc. Especially as it's public knowledge he was hit in a bar, which the media will no doubt spin as a bar brawl. Koeman might leave him out of the squad to protect the reputation of club and player. Hope not like after yesterdays game.

Yep. And the fellers playing the tape seem to make out he got tagged with one rather than being ko'd

Also, no camera photos of a sparked out Ross.

But that ain't as newsworthy
