Ross is boss, sensing a performance in a big game soon, maybe next Sunday!
A confident Ross quite often does well in big games against the so called bigger cubs, as they tend to give him more space to operate. Spurs will be a bit more difficult as they play more of a pressing game. Remember him having a great game at the Lane in Moyes final season.

Just lately my match day experience is somewhat diminished as I don't feel able to boo or swear at Ross, such is the improvement in his play. With Osman and cleverly gone, I'm looking for a new victim. Lookman showed some encouraging signs this week but it's early days.

Try and hold out mate, don't be disheartened.

He has improved a lot lately and it's been good to see. Still making stupid errors but I can forgive that when he is creating chances and doing other things well. He needs to work on the consistency of his corners though.

But overall a good game from him yesterday. He's also improved a lot with picking players out when in a threatening position. The usual fans in the crowd all groaned in the second half when he didn't instantly pick out the pass they wanted, and he then put Mirallas through with a clever ball. As has been mentioned for a while, playing with Davies seems to have improved him.

Does not look like he is carrying the cares of the world on his shoulders which was the case earlier in the season. Clearly a cracking player who is in a run of form. Local boy, next Rooney tag will always be a heavy load for a kid that seems quite shy by nature but he seems to be coming through those self doubts and hesitations that held him back. Lots of other players stepping up too is clearly helping.

I suspect your tongue was well and truly in your cheek when you wrote this. Unfortunately there are some near me who mirror your irony.
