He wasn't actually that good today weirdly, particularly in possession. He had a "Lukaku" game, where he was poor throughout, giving the ball away constantly and seeming to switch off tactically, but he got two assists.

That's fine by me at the moment though; anything to get his confidence up.

just reading the report on Sky and they gave him a 6/10. Two assists and you get 6/10 scandalous

Best game in a long time. Decision making was a lot better, and as the game went on his confidence grew and he became cocky which is what we want.

Still needs to press more. Too many times he let the likes of Silva just jog right past him.

He's rounding into a fantastic player. Doing more and more each week - defending, clearing corners and putting in slide tackles.

74% passing acc, only the 3 CBs and Coleman had better.

So he miss placed about 6 passes but you are saying that's all he did all game not mentioning his defensive play or his overall dictation of play?

He missed placed a pass though lad!

He's the type of midfielder that tried difficult passes so he will always have passes that go astray, however he's not holding onto the ball as much as he previously did, he's not taking as long to choose a pass and he's now a bit more willing to stick a boot in.
