No I'm not saying that I was trying to get across it hurts him more then RL or KM etc.

He is living the dream of everyone that has stood in goodison and cheered on the Everton, can you picture if that was you what you would be feeling. RL or most of the rest of the "players" (because some of them are like a character in the wizard of oz) don't care what us fans/supporters think, shout it is just a pay cheque. I once was told it is easy blame a man who isn't doing his job but don't blame a man for doing his job.
I feel Ross is doing HIS best in the job his being asked to do but it's not his position and he is still learning, yeah his 23 but never given a chance to deliver what promise he has, as a number 6, running at people and seeing key passes

I asked why people wouldn't believe Gerrard could have any info about the club but would readily believe some fella off a Everton forum

Find where I ask if he has info? I wouldn't want it anyway as its mostly wrong

I have a slight concern in regard to the Everton future of Ross Barkley; if we are going to splash out £50 million an Van Dyke and we need £10 mill for Lookman and probably £20 + mill for a midfielder, where is the money coming from.
We only have Barkley or Lukaku worth the sort of money we would need to finance these deals even if the rumours of a £50 mill transfer kitty are true.

End of the day a blue or not, he gets paid a small fortune and is not performing at the moment. He has to expect some criticism coming his way. Like any job if your not doing it to the standard expected, someone will be saying something. He is also not a kid anymore, as like you said he is 23. People seem to let Barkley off because of his age yet seem to forget Lukaku is 23 as well. I want Barkley to come good but unfortunately he has gone backwards recently. Hopefully things will change soon otherwise what do you do apart from sell him for decent money.
